Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, an American actress and screen actress and producer. She is most famous as a movie actress, for her role in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She received a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue is a film and theater actress in addition to being producer. Her first job was as an actress in theatre before going on to make appearances in numerous TV programs, as well as independent and mainstream films. She gained acclaim as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico as well as on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for which she received not just high praise but also numerous awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. In 1995, she made her acting debut with The Tempest as Ariel. She has performed as a character on Broadway on stage in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In her film career, she is known best for her performances in films such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. The role she plays on TV on ABC's drama series about police High Incident has earned her accolades.
